The Gophers MUST GO!!!!
Ok. So we have gophers in our back yard. I have tried to get rid of them myself through the summer and everynow and then we would get a new dirt mound from one of their tunnels. Well...today I go out in my abondoned yard(I haven't been able to go back there due to my busy schedule. Any ways this is what I found.

Thats right all of those are fresh mounds.
I'm calling a gopher getter!!!!!!

Congratulations James and Amanda
Funny stories from Church
I think everyone can relate to the feeling of embarrassment that happens in church so many times. These are some of the funny yet embarrassing things that happened to Craig and me this Sunday. By the way it was the Primary program in Sacrament meeting which makes this even better.
First:
Craig and I were sitting near the back of the chapel. I was talking to Craig about something unimportant when I hear one of the children state "Heavenly Father" I was sitting with my arms folded, immediately got confused, stopped my talking and bowed my head ready for the pray. Then I feel Craig shaking with laughter beside me as I hear the child finish saying something like "Heavenly Father wants us to return to live with him".
Second:
The fathers and older boys came to the front of the chapel behind the podium and sang Called to Serve. As they were singing the younger kids were doing the actions behind them(Putting their fists in the air when singing "Onward" and pushing their hands out in front of them when singing "forward") Well the funny part about this is the song was sounding really good and then all of a sudden anyone who thought they could take a nap during the meeting were awakened when the younger kids yelled out ONWARD!!!! It was so funny the fathers that were singing with their sons were laughing.(this might be one where you had to be there)
Third:
The Congregation was asked to sing the 2nd and 3rd verse of We Thank thee O God for a Prophet. Well Craig was really ready to sing and he joined about 5 people in the congregation with full vigor singing the first few words of the First verse. It sounded something like "WE THANK THEE o' ...." and quickly faded, followed by laughter. It was even funnier when we thought our friends Danny and Laura were laughing at us but in reality they were laughing because Laura did the same thing. :)
Fourth:
In nursery during song time, one of our little girls had the cutest tights on which had a picture of a bear on her bum. While singing wheels on the bus she pulls up her skirt and says "Hey look at the bear on my bum" It was so funny.
Oh the joys of church.

Its a Girl
Announcing Alyssa Joan(this picture does not justice to how cute this little girl is, remember it is from a cell phone camera right after she was born)

As many of you know my younger brother Ben got married at the beginning of this year and soon after found out their due date for their first child was Dec. 6,2008. They have been having a really tough pregnancy with Janna being in the hospital at least four times in the last month and being on strick bedrest to keep their little girl from coming too soon. Well last night they went to St. Lukes in Meridian and after a few hours were transported to the downtown St. Lukes in Boise. At 5:50am(time might not be exactly correct) little Alyssa Joan Stewart was born. She weighs 3 lbs 12 oz and is 17 3/4in long. I had the chance to go see her a few hours ago and she is doing fantastic. She has been breathing on her own since she was born this morning and although she is in the NICU she is in an open bed(meaning no incubator) which is a relief. What a strong little girl. I let my brother borrow my camera to take pictures so once I get it back I will be posting some pictures of the newest addition to our family.
P.S. at the end of November my older brother James's wife is due to have their first baby as well, Also a baby girl.
