We were really lucky to be able to spend a weekend in Estes Park, Colorado in September. Our good friends Brett and Robin moved to Colorado about 4 months ago and they had access to a condo in Estes so we went with our little girls and had a great time. We ate homemade ice cream multiple times, went to the candy store, saw a herd of elk multiple times, went swimming, took naps, had donuts for breakfast and grilled steak and corn for dinner, etc. It was wonderful. A really cool part about it too was Craigs parents were there finishing a week long vacation also so we were able to spend the day with them. It was so fun seeing Dan and Sharon with Kailin. She was so sweet and did such a great job. Here is a slide of pictures from our trip. We love Estes Park. About 5 years ago it is where we went on our Honeymoon and it will always be one of my favorite places.

Hey girl! Love the blog and I can't believe how much Kailin has grown, she is so adorable!! Sounds like you guys had a great time on your trip, it's nice to be able to get away as a family. Also, I loved your previous post on where we are at in life and I couldn't agree more. It's crazy where life leads us and it sometimes seems like everyone else always has all these amazing things they do and we can't seem to measure up but we all have our personal strengths and the things we do well and you are an amazing mom and have such a beautiful family, keep up the great work! :)
Fun! Jon and I just went there last summer. I always love looking at your blog and all the fun things you do and see your little girl of course!!
