Merry Christmas!!

So one day I do plan on updating this blog. However for now here are some videos to see how much Kailin has grown up and her joy for Christmas morning.

Splash Park

We went to the splash park this evening at Settlers Park. We haven't been yet and I couldn't wait to take Kailin so I decided after a day of her wanting to take naps but not falling asleep we would go there to wear her out. I should tell you something about Kailin. She LOVES water, in fact she loves it so much she asks for a Bath every day and will try to run into the bathroom before I can close the door. I wasn't sure how she would like it but her love of water won out. She also was trying to give all of the other kids hugs. It was so sweet. Here are the pictures. It was so much fun I think we will go a few times a week.

I felt really bad on this one. I stood underneath a bucket and of course it dumps water to the left of me. I was hoping to get wet but instead Kailin took the bucket of water on the head. oops!

Easter

We had a great Easter this year. Kailin is a little too little for the Easter Egg hunt but some of our best friends the Hones were visiting so it was a lot of fun to see them and spend time with them before their little boy was born. We went to Albertsons for their Easter Egg Hunt and it was a really fun time. Kailin was a little scare of the bunny but honestly I would be too if I were her.

Go Daddy Go!!!

Craig has been running quite a few 5k's and 10 k's lately. There are always a lot offered in the Boise area and it has been fun going to see him run.

Visit from Nana and Brandi in March

We had such a fun time having Sharon and Brandi visiting in March before Kailin's first birthday. I am always amazed at how much Brandi loves little babies. It is the sweetest thing ever. Even when she isn't feeling the best she wants to be right beside Kailin. I don't think Kailin would change that either she absolutely loves her Aunt Brandi. Here are some pictures from our fun week with them.

From Birth-12mo It is amazing how much she has changed

The past year has been the most rewarding year of my life. It is amazing how much joy Kailin has added to our home. She is full of pizzazz and spunk, requires a lot of work and reassurance, but gives the best hugs and kisses ever.

I will have a more detailed post later but here are a few things she does and loves.

She started crawling at 10 months, has 8 teeth with two more coming in currently, she can say and does say all the time, Mom, Dad, Bath, woof woof, hi, bye,along with the normal, baba, nana, p,p,t,t and her usual chattering. She Claps and has started rolling her arms to Patty Cake. She is also currently working on the Itsy Bitsy Spider. She loves talking on the cell phone but gets mad if it isn't mommy or daddy on the other line. She has the best smile that warms my heart. Every morning when I go into get her she plays peek a boo with her blanket. She stands on her toes which we are working on, it is pretty difficult to walk when you stand on your toes ;). She is very inquisitive about everything which we love. She loves to eat Bananas, apples, pears, squash and rolls. In fact she loves to eat anything which involves bread. Oh yeah and she folds her arms when we pray :)

She constently suprises us with all that she does and I'm sure will continue to do so. I swear she dreams of taking a bath because from the moment she wakes up to the moment she falls asleep she says Bath Bath Bath? It is awesome. I will update later with pictures of our Awesome day as she turns ONE today.

I love you Kailin bug and am so excited for you to continue to learn and grow.

From Birth-12mo It is amazing how much she has changed

Double chins, friends and sleep???

We have been having a lot of fun lately and I can't believe Kailin is 11 months old. She is so fun. Everyday she does something different which suprises me. A few weeks ago she finally started crawling and since she figured that out it is amazing the confidence she has to do anything. She pulls herself up on everything and creeps around the couch and ottoman and eats everything. Good thing our house is some what baby proofed. Her favorite thing to pull herself up on is on her crib when she is supposed to be sleeping.

These are things she loves:

And....This is what we find quite often when she is supposed to be asleep. How can you be mad at a smile like this. I give in way too much :)
