Graduation

I am so proud of Craig. He graduated from Boise State University on saturday with his Bachelors in Psychology. We had a fun time with family and friends in town. Craig has worked so hard between working and school and it has now paid off. He isn't done yet though a few weeks ago he was accepted into the Masters Program at BSU for Instructional and Performance Technology.

Erik and Kathy's House

Kathy and Erik were nice enough to let us stay at their house both nights we were in Utah. We had a lot of fun visiting with them and some really good conversations about the gospel which I really appreciated.
Here are some pictures from our time with them. Just a little background. Violet Kathy's little girl is all girl. First thing she told me when she woke up was"Hi aunt Cynthia...oh wait I need my pink glass slippers" which is when she ran into her room and came out with pink ballet slippers on.

Trip to Utah

This last week Craig and I went to Utah for a few days. We really needed a break"considering the stressful situation in which we are living"(quote by Craig). Craig's best friend Dave Otis from high school got married in the Draper Temple and we were lucky it was during our spring break so we were able to attend. Before we went to their wedding we went to a session at the Salt Lake temple. It was wonderful. I have really started to appreciate the times I am able to attend the temple since I am normally so busy and am not able to go as much as I would like. It was raining when we got there but we took some good pictures.
When Daves sister Kim(green dress) went to Disneyland for a band competition she found these cute Mickey and Minnie hats for Dave and Amy. We absolutely loved them. Congratulations Dave and Amy we are really excited for you too.

The Conference Center. I love when the rain drops can be seen on the trees.

Birthdays and Birthdays

We were able to be with our brother in law Erik and little nephew Kade for their birthdays(both on Feb 27th). Unfortunately it was a sad situation as mentioned in a previous post the day of my cousins funeral. I thought I would post a comment Kade made to me "Aunt Cynthia guess what"kade "What"aunt cynthia. "I can't believe I am FIVE today"kade. "I know Kade thats crazy and do you know how old I will be tomorrow?...25"aunt cynthia to which Kade responded with wide eyes "HOLY!!!!" It was so funny I couldn't stop laughing. I love you Kado and I hope you had fun at Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Craigs house for your birthday.

Catching Up from February

On Valentines day weekend our friends Ethan and Bianca came to visit. We always have so much fun when they come. Normally when people visit it is stressful but when they come it is so relaxing because they are so chill. We did a lot of really fun stuff. We have started a tradition if you will of going to The Reef. It is one of our favorite places downtown because they have different food like Coconut crusted chicken strips(one of my favorites) and they have live music which is always a lot of fun. Craig had to work on Valentines so we went to pick him up at the mall. When we got there our friend Dustin was there too so we visited for a little bit and sorry Dustin but I had to add this picture.

We then headed downtown for some fun at the Reef. Here are some pictures.

Looking for a Job for Craig

For all of our facebook friends you are aware that Craigs position at Eyemasters is Changing. We are not very excited about the pay cut he will get or the way the situation is being handled but we are optimistic as to what this will bring. By this we mean hopefully less stress for Craig. He has been dealing with a lot at his work and this may be a blessing in disguise. We are currently looking for a new job for Craig because Eyemasters really doesn't offer much now. Please if you know of any jobs make a comment. Thank you.
